It is April, the calendar says spring, but here in these parts of Wisconsin, we are seeing not-so-springlike weather and temperatures. But nevertheless, April is National Kite Month and we hope you are all taking advantage of the numerous activities planned around the country celebrating kiting. Jeff Hale and I put up a kite display here at the Lester Library in Two Rivers. If you can't get there, check out these pictures taken by Jeff Dawson, the Library Director.(http://www.flickr.com/photos/lesterpubliclibrary/sets/72157604470526980/)
We are still getting new products in and unfortunately, there are a lot of new items that are not here yet. For you Star Wars fans, we will be getting kites with Star Wars themes and graphics in May and they are absolutely great looking. Please check back next month and see for yourself. We are trying to update our website with new products and are falling a little behind. Please be patient and we will get it done. Meanwhile, if there is something you are looking for but don't see it here, drop us a line and we'll try and find it for you. We are still selling a lot of Flo-tail and Rainbow Tortuga Strat deltas. In fact, out Tortugas are one of, in not, the cheapest in the country. We are selling so many of them we are holding the price from 2 years ago, a savings to you of over $30 to $40 per kite. Don't take my word for it - check out other retailers. Don't forget to check out our flags - great selections and prices too.
Well, for those of you experiencing nice weather, go out and fly a kite...or two. Happy Spring.
Please check out these pictures from this year's Kites Over Lake Michigan at this website, http://flickr.com/groups/2007http://www.flickr.com/photos/lesterpubliclibrary/sets/72157604470526980/ _kites_over_lake_michigan/pool/.
